SILICON VALLEY (DPI) - Apple Computer Chairman Steve Jobs announced today that Apple intended to repeat the success of the iMac with its new scented computer, the PUMac. "People loved those colorful, translucent computers," he said. "They're darned cute! But now, everybody has colorful, translucent computers. Once again, though, Apple is breaking new ground with colorful, translucent computers that SMELL!" When asked what processor was in these computers, Jobs responded, "Gee, I don't know, but they're awesome!" Apple stock went up 27% after the announcement.
In a related story, Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates announced that Microsoft has begun work on its new "Windows PU" operating system, but maintains that this has nothing to do with Apple's new product.
"Give me a break!" said Gates, "Windows PU has been on the drawing board since early this morning!"
NOTE TO THE HUMOR-IMPAIRED: This is parody. It isn't real. Please don't contact me, or Apple Computer, about the PUMac. For more information on the Daily Probe, visit www.topfive.com.
